Asphalt Screed Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Work safely and prevent unsafe actions or behaviors
• Control material taken into paver and depth of material distribution
• Ensure smoothness of mat during distribution
• Communicate with supervisor and testing technician about laydown operations
• Assist in operating other paving equipment such as asphalt rollers, power brooms, skid steer loaders, and loaders as needed
• Willing to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends
• Perform physical labor as required
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

• Willing to work in all weather conditions
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
• Passes pre-employment drug screening and background check
