Asphalt Sales/Estimator

Florida Sealcoating LLC is seeking an experienced Asphalt Estimator to manage project cost estimation, bidding, and financial oversight while ensuring successful project execution. This role requires in-depth knowledge of asphalt paving, striping, milling, and roadway construction, with a strong understanding of materials, labor, and equipment costs specific to the asphalt industry.

Responsibilities

• Estimation & Bidding: Prepare accurate cost estimates for asphalt paving, striping, milling, and roadway construction projects.
• Project Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability.
• Project Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure projects meet industry standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in asphalt paving, striping, milling, or construction estimating.
• Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, materials, equipment, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and DOT specifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build client relationships.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Location

In-person at our Sanford, FL office. Travel to job sites for assessments, client meetings, and crew check-ins is required.
