Asphalt Estimator/Sales

Responsibilities

• Analyze Plans and Specifications: Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Prepare Cost Estimates: Calculate costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Bid Preparation: Develop bid proposals and pre-bid documentation.
• Material and Labor Quotes: Obtain quotes for materials and subcontractor participation.
• Project Coordination: Work with project management teams to follow up on bids and budgets.
• Cost Analysis: Compare estimated costs to actual costs and collaborate with project management on findings.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly in asphalt paving projects (Commercial Parking Lots).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may prefer or require additional education or certifications.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in using estimating software. (Bid2Win)
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
