Asphalt Plant Groundman

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, labor and operate equipment in support of asphalt production facilities
• Oiling, lubrication, housekeeping and loading of asphalt into trucks
• Running equipment such as loaders, skid steers, forklifts and man lifts
• Performing other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and a good mechanical background to include fabrication skills
• A positive attitude with the ability to work well with others and follow directions
• Willingness to work overtime, nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Must be able to work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors
