Asphalt Paving Roller Operator

About the role

Black-Top Paving, a division of Journey Group, is expanding its team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We are seeking a Safety-Minded Asphalt Paving Roller Operator to join our dynamic paving team.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with field foremen and paving teams. - Maintain production levels. - Perform ground tasks such as luting and shoveling black top. - Prioritize safety, respect, and ethical practices.

Requirements

- Ability to operate pneumatic rubber tire roller. - Knowledge of safety devices in the work area. - Valid state-issued driver’s license and proof of auto insurance preferred. - CDL Class A with air brake endorsements preferred.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience operating asphalt paving equipment. - Strong physical condition suitable for manual labor.
