Asphalt Paving Machine Operator

Location: Southeastern Pa, South Jersey, Delaware Road-Con is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Roller Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a roller to compact asphalt surfaces to the required specifications. This position requires precision and the ability to work in various environmental conditions. Key Responsibilities Operate a roller to compact asphalt surfaces to achieve the desired density and smoothness.Monitor the compaction process and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality results.Work closely with the paving crew to ensure efficient and effective paving operations.Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the roller.Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the safety of other employees and the public.Work in various environmental conditions, including hot surfaces and uneven terrain. Requirements Experience operating an asphalt paving roller.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a consistent and even surface.Valid driver’s license.Flexibility to work daytime and nighttime shifts based on project demands.Understanding of safety protocols and procedures. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in asphalt paving or related fields.Knowledge of roller equipment maintenance and repair.
