Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of asphalt manufacturing operations, ensuring a safe, productive, and efficient environment.
- Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure strict compliance with all safety practices and regulations.
- Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve production goals and quality standards.
- Deliver world-class customer service and timely scheduling for both internal and external clients.
- Oversee budgeting, production planning, staffing, and maintenance activities.
- Manage production teams, optimize equipment and facility usage, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze operational and financial reports to maximize plant profitability.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage procurement within budget parameters.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and collaborate with the accounting department.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Maintain environmental compliance and fulfill all reporting requirements.
- Cookordinate with other business units to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Pay
$24-30/hr. depending on experience.
Additional Requirements
- Proven experience in plant operations, team leadership, and safety management—preferably in asphalt or related industries.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data to drive performance improvements.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in coordinating complex schedules and managing multiple priorities.
- Professional, courteous, and collaborative attitude toward colleagues, supervisors, and the public.
- Flexibility to travel and work nights or weekends as business needs demand.
- Strict adherence to all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Willingness to contribute to team efforts and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
- Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
- Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
- Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
