About the role

The ASP Instructor will be responsible for teaching special education students in an after school program setting. The position requires certification and experience in special education.

Responsibilities

• Teach special education students according to curriculum guidelines
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as necessary
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and administrators
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

Requirements

• Certification in special education
• Experience working with special education students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education or related field
• Passing score on state certification exam
