About the role
Join us as an ASIC & FPGA Design Engineer Sr. at Lockheed Martin. This role involves designing, developing, and testing advanced integrated circuits and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing high-performance digital systems using ASIC and FPGA technologies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize complex electronic systems.
- Conducting thorough design reviews and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Participating in the development and validation of new hardware designs.
- Documenting design processes and results for future reference and team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ASIC and FPGA design.
- Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or similar hardware description languages.
- Strong understanding of digital logic design principles and circuit theory.
- Knowledge of design methodologies and tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
- Knowledge of test and measurement techniques.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Pay
