About the role

Join us as an ASIC & FPGA Design Engineer Sr. at Lockheed Martin. This role involves designing, developing, and testing advanced integrated circuits and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing high-performance digital systems using ASIC and FPGA technologies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize complex electronic systems.
  • Conducting thorough design reviews and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Participating in the development and validation of new hardware designs.
  • Documenting design processes and results for future reference and team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ASIC and FPGA design.
  • Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or similar hardware description languages.
  • Strong understanding of digital logic design principles and circuit theory.
  • Knowledge of design methodologies and tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
  • Knowledge of test and measurement techniques.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Skills
