About the role

Join us as an ASIC & FPGA Design Engineer Sr at Lockheed Martin. This role involves designing, developing, and testing advanced integrated circuits and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing complex digital systems using ASIC and FPGA technologies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance, reliable, and secure electronic systems.
  • Conducting design reviews and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ASIC and FPGA design.
  • Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or similar hardware description languages.
  • Strong understanding of digital logic design principles and circuit simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and packaging techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience with embedded systems and system-on-chip (SoC) design.
  • Hands-on experience with EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of digital design methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience with high-level synthesis and place-and-route tools.
  • Understanding of power management and low-power design techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Pay

Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
