About the role
Join us as an ASIC & FPGA Design Engineer Sr at Lockheed Martin. This role involves designing, developing, and testing advanced integrated circuits and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing complex digital systems using ASIC and FPGA technologies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance, reliable, and secure electronic systems.
- Conducting design reviews and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ASIC and FPGA design.
- Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or similar hardware description languages.
- Strong understanding of digital logic design principles and circuit simulation tools.
- Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and packaging techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Experience with embedded systems and system-on-chip (SoC) design.
- Hands-on experience with EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of digital design methodologies and techniques.
- Experience with high-level synthesis and place-and-route tools.
- Understanding of power management and low-power design techniques.

Pay
Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
