About the role

A Chinese Food Cook prepares high-quality food for our Chinese food deli section, using various cooking tools, utensils, and ingredients to create mixes, sauces, meals, and more. Beyond cooking, you’ll help maintain stocked shelves, ensure a safe and clean cooking environment, and manage inventory and ordering to keep the kitchen supplied. Customer engagement is key—you’ll provide fast, friendly service while fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Chinese cuisine following recipes with a focus on quality.
• Use cooking tools and utensils to create dishes, sauces, and mixes.
• Maintain stocked shelves and a clean, organized cooking area.
• Conduct regular inventory and ordering to ensure the kitchen is well-supplied.
• Engage with customers, providing fast and friendly service.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience providing great customer service.
• Enthusiasm for cooking and following recipes to create dishes.
• Adaptability to varying environments (e.g., freezer, fridge, food prep areas).
• Pride in your work, whether big or small.
