About the Role

A Chinese Food Cook prepares high-quality food for our Chinese food deli section, using a variety of tools, utensils, and ingredients to create mixes, sauces, meals, and more. Beyond cooking, you’ll ensure shelves are stocked, cooking areas are clean and safe, and ingredients and supplies are well-managed through regular inventory and ordering. Customer engagement is key—you’ll provide fast, friendly service while maintaining an inviting atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Chinese cuisine with a focus on quality and consistency.
• Follow recipes to create dishes, sauces, and mixes.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe cooking areas.
• Stock shelves and manage ingredient/supply inventory.
• Provide fast and friendly customer service.
• Adapt to varying work environments (e.g., freezer, fridge, prep areas).

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience providing great customer service.
• Enthusiasm for cooking and following recipes.
• Pride in your work, big or small.
• Ability to adapt to different work environments.
• Passion for food and its role in community.
