About the role
The Asian Casino Host is responsible for recognizing and maintaining relationships with High Stake Players (VIP Guests) of the Seneca Gaming Operation, with a focus on Asian players. This role promotes the Player’s Club, builds long-term relationships with members, and provides outstanding guest services to patrons.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, summarize Player’s Club benefits, and encourage enrollment.
- Develop and maintain a database of patrons for the gaming operation.
- Build long-term relationships with assigned Player’s Club members to promote repeat visits and loyalty using direct marketing tools.
- Assist in Asian public relations and the development of Asian marketing materials and events.
- Authorize the issuance of casino complementaries as approved by management.
- Assist other departments to improve communication with Asian patrons.
- Greet and check in guests, accept and inspect Player’s Club applications, and enroll applicants into the system while verifying identification.
- Promote participation in Player’s Club activities and assist with lost card retrieval.
- Address member concerns about point systems in a friendly and caring manner.
- Stay current on Player’s Club redemption processes and communicate this information to guests.
- Keep abreast of all gaming and community events to answer guest questions.
- Provide quality guest services, including resolving immediate concerns (e.g., retrieving change, signing machine logbooks).
- Award promotional items to winners of Player’s Club special promotions.
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports promptly and accurately.
- Monitor and review computer databases for entry errors and duplicate accounts.
- Assist the Marketing Department in special events, including dressing in costumes for occasions.
- Inform supervisor of department inventory supply needs.
- Assist in training Associate Casino Hosts.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and information security policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional work environment.
- Meet attendance guidelines and comply with all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Complete all required SGC training programs within nine months of employment.
- Attend all necessary meetings.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of casino experience in a customer service role.
- Previous customer service experience with the Asian community.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese; knowledge of other Asian languages/dialects preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient computer skills; ACSC casino software and player rating system experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an intense, fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
- Ability to work in an environment where smoking is permitted.
- Must maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to handle pressure.
- Noise levels range from moderately loud to loud on the casino floor.
Pay
Starting rate: $16.16 per hour. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
