Aseptic Filler Operator (C-Shift 6:00pm-6:30am)

Responsibilities
- Moves juice from the run tank to the filler, keeping accurate data on temperature control charts, ensuring Critical Control Points are met, completing CIP/Kosher/Organic washes from the run tank through the pasteurizer and to the fillers.
- Attends the filler by operating the equipment efficiently to optimize production-line run time.
- Maintains good housekeeping within the process operation.
- Performs product quality checks and may operate the Blow Molder.
- Maintains processes by recording all data such as cycles, frequency, downtime, faults, using computer system.
- Monitors the flow of bottles from the depalletizing area, clears bottle jams, and alerts maintenance personnel of any mechanical malfunctions.
- Maintains equipment through Autonomous Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and proper operations.
- Adjusts machine controls and performs minor adjustments on equipment to ensure smooth operation of the production line.
- Completes packaging changeovers on the filler, rinser, and depalletizer by adjusting rails, swapping out change parts, and adjusting the timing.
- Retrieves bottle caps from the storage area and fills the cap hopper.
- Performs required quality tests to ensure batches conform to product quality specifications using analytical laboratory equipment.
- Aids in inventory verification for bottles, caps, and product; records bottle waste, cap usage, and excessive product waste on inventory control logs.
- Monitors pasteurizer and fill-tank temperature charts, product flow rates, and fill-tank levels.
- Adjusts temperatures and/or product flow to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards - records reasons for variations on temperature charts.
- Documents all product changes at change-over time on pasteurizer and fill-tank temperature charts.
- Accountable for food safety, food quality, and regulatory requirements for their position.
- Empowered to work with supervision to resolve food safety and food quality issues within their scope of work.
- Taste tests product as needed, up to a couple of ounces per test.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment operating production equipment.
- Analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detailed orientation and can multi-task.
- Excellent time management skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in the food/beverage industry.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment.
- Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Ability to talk and hear.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend, and crouch.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate machinery/equipment and all manual and electronic equipment in area of responsibility.

Pay
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000, payable during the pay period following successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment
Retention Bonuses: Two additional $500 bonuses paid at 6 months and 1 year of employment, contingent upon active employment and good standing
Annual Merit Increases: Eligible for yearly performance-based pay increases
All bonuses are subject to applicable federal and state tax withholdings

This role reports to the Production Supervisor on their designated shift and is based out of our Hendersonville, North Carolina location.
