About the role
At Ascentium Capital, the Vendor Sales Account Manager is a direct, client-facing role within the Regions Bank family. This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities, retaining and servicing clients, and addressing their business financing needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new leads, prospects, or clients through various means such as cold calling, networking, and attending industry trade show events.
- Develop and deepen client relationships through business activities, primarily through off-site, in-person meetings with clients, prospects, and leads.
- Conduct frequent in-person meetings with potential clients to discuss products or services, make proposal presentations, and demonstrate how offerings meet their needs.
- Cultivate relationships with existing clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and cross-sell additional products.
- Maintain understanding of all product offerings and effectively communicate the benefits of these products to customers.
- Communicate information regarding company products, services, and policies/procedures to new and existing clients.
- Negotiate terms and agreements to finalize sales and secure deals.
- Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of company product information.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly and identify new opportunities.
- Ensure that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Meet monthly sales goals on a consistent basis.
- Develop new business and maintain existing business relationships.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reporting as required.
- Routinely attend business/trade events as requested by management.
- Attend company sales meetings.
Requirements
- Average of $300,000 in monthly production.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- One (1) year of commercial, small business, equipment financing or related outside sales experience.
- Demonstrated results meeting production sales goals.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and other applicable sales tools.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.

- The pay structure for this role includes an annual base salary and a commission incentive plan with top Sr. Sales Associates currently earning over $300k plus.
