About the role
The ASCCE Model Controller / Exercise Gamer supports worldwide Air Force and Joint/Coalition partners in executing Tier 1 and 2 exercises on request. This is a part-time/on-call position that includes multiple 2-3 week assignments/exercises in locations such as Hawaii, Germany, or the Republic of Korea.
Responsibilities
- Validate ATO taskings.
- Maintain efficient Air operations through necessary control steps.
- Provide realistic operational and technical responses to the AOC training audience as required.
- Control and manage the operation of an ASCCE simulation system during exercises, including AWSIM, CSI, DIS, AFSERS, LOGSIM, ACE-IOS, C2SET, and AFSIM.
- Facilitate Air Operations throughout the exercise using systems like TBMCS, JADOCS, MAAPTK, C2Core, NIRIS, ICC System, TDACS, ADSI, JRE, etc.
Requirements
- 6 years military experience in AOC operations, information technology, and/or ASCCE suite systems, and Air Force simulations.
- Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience; or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
- US Citizen with a minimum Secret Clearance.
- Knowledge of ATO preparation and execution, AOC display systems, battle damage assessment processes, and systems.
- Ts/Sci clearance.
- Practical application of Air computer simulation for exercise support, fundamental principles of simulation-driven exercise planning, and experience in controlling a simulation center during an exercise.
Qualifications
- Minimum Secret Clearance required.
- Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000.
