Asbestos Supervisor (Traveling)

About the role

EnviroVantage, Inc., established in 1985, is an industry-leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor servicing projects nationwide and across the Caribbean. Recognized as a trusted authority for hazardous materials handling and demolition, EnviroVantage is seeking to expand its team with an Asbestos Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct field crews and subcontractors
• Cookordinate onsite work
• Ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
• Implement project-specific work plans
• Manage crew's labor and equipment time for maximum productivity and budget adherence
• Interface and communicate professionally with clients
• Oversee delivery and off-loading of supplies and materials
• Complete daily field reports

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Asbestos, Demolition, or Construction Supervisor
• Minimum of 2 years related field experience with construction and management
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• OSHA 10 and HAZWOPER 40 certifications required (certificates to be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• 40-hour Asbestos Supervisor certification required
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules preferred, but not required
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment preferred, but not required
• Torch cutting and rigging experience preferred, but not required
• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational schooling preferred, but not required

Working Environment/Physical Demands

• Must be able to perform tasks involving bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds
• Must pass a physical examination by a medical professional for anticipated work requirements
• Must pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States
• A valid driver’s license is required, along with a safe driving record as measured by company policy
