ASA/ FSA Health Actuary

About the role

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a large well‑established US health insurer with a significant multi‑state footprint across Commercial and Government Programs. The business operates at considerable scale across Medicare, Medicaid and employer‑sponsored coverage and is looking to add a credentialed Health Actuary to its already sizeable team.

Responsibilities

• Use financial and actuarial principles to assess the impact of company decision making.
• Oversee pricing, underwriting, statistics, reserving, forecasting and other actuarial requirements, preferably leveraging Medicare product line knowledge.

Requirements

• ASA or FSA credentialed.
• Health actuarial experience.
• Preference for deep Medicare knowledge.
