About the role

Middletown Township Public Schools is seeking an Art teacher for Elementary students in a replacement position from August 27, 2026 to June 30, 2027.

Requirements and Qualifications

• NJ Teacher of Art certificate required
• NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped certificate preferred
• Experience working with elementary school age students
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Knowledge/evidence of implementation of best practices for supporting an inclusive environment and opportunities for students
• Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations
• Knowledge of Google for Education

Benefits

The Middletown Township School District provides a competitive salary and benefits package. The salary range is $60,073 - $87,073 (as per the negotiated contract and commensurate with level of education).
