What's the Job?

Scale and implement a new illustration style across the organization through art directing and executing illustrations and animations for in-product use.

Collaborate with illustrators, art directors, animators, content designers, engineers, and product designers to ensure a consistent brand system.

Maintain high standards of craft by paying close attention to detail and quality in all visual outputs.

Guide high-quality outputs through productive iteration, fostering innovative problem-solving with a systems mindset.

Participate in team critiques, design sprints, and workshops to refine visual storytelling and illustration standards.

What's Needed?

• An illustration portfolio demonstrating both direction and hands-on execution of conceptual, compositional, and color skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and vector graphics.
• Experience creating and exporting simple vector animations in After Effects.
• 4+ years of relevant illustration experience, including adopting in-house illustration styles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The Art Director III will be part of the Design Department supporting cross-functional teams including product design, content creation, and engineering.
