ARRT Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist

Job Summary

This position performs x-ray testing, operates diagnostic equipment, develops film, prepares rooms, and assists with medical assistant duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly greets patients and communicates wait times
• Executes follow-up calls with urgency
• Absorbs patient check-in/out procedures as needed
• Obtains and documents patient vital signs, history, and medications
• Assists with patient transfers and procedures
• Completes required documentation and follows quality control procedures
• Ensures equipment is in working order and reports malfunctions
• Maintains diagnostic imaging knowledge and licensure

Schedule

Full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• AR State X-Ray License
• ARRT Certification preferred
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
