Armed Surveillance Security Officer

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking an Armed Surveillance Security Officer with sharp observation skills and attention to detail to monitor security systems and detect threats in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

About the role

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will spot threats before they escalate, document incidents, respond to potential threats, and collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of armed experience
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to provide own approved weapon and level 3 holster
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• State license if required

Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Schedule

Full-time, 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday, 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm, 40 hours per week.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $20.25/hr. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.
