Armed Security Supervisor - Must have a valid driver's license

Wage: $28.76/hour

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and Driver Certification
• Wear and Carry Permit
• At least 2 years of supervisor/management experience
• Ability to work any shift if needed
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred
• May be required to hold and continue to meet the requirements for any applicable state, county, and municipal license for Security Officers
• Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s)
• Ensure all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed
• Notify proper authorities and client in emergency situations
• Coach and discipline personnel as appropriate; document coaching and disciplinary actions
• Train Security Officers and other company personnel; review post orders and assignment details with subordinates
• Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with company management
• Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required
• Inspect posts as scheduled and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service
• Carry out supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching, appraising, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; making hiring and termination recommendations
• Perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy as needed

• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
• Regular use of vehicle for the performance of duties
