About the role

The Armed Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site in Golden, CO. This role acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.
• Communicate staffing needs on shift to Account Manager or Operations Manager.
• Assure officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills.
• Address employee grievances with support from district or region HR and Account or Operations Manager.
• Administer Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and safety programs outlining site-specific hazards, including vehicle/driving safety as appropriate.
• Assist Account or Operations Manager in managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles, maintaining inventories and maintenance checklists.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently at the client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meet licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations (required prior to employment).
• Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Able to work in various environments (e.g., cold weather, rain/snow, or heat).
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.

Pay

$29.00 an hour
