Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate store leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, unauthorized entry, and other policy violations.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
Requirements
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Pay
Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour
Schedule
DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 11:30 PM. This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a fixed-shift, with the option to pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.
