Armed Security Officer Route Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, while remaining prepared for armed post responsibilities.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations by following established post orders and reporting procedures.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, routine inspections, and timely communication regarding security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Have 1+ year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
