Security Officer Unarmed Route Patrol

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Commercial Real Estate, you will also contribute to a culture that positively impacts the communities and customers we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control, visitor inquiries, and reporting of security-related issues in accordance with post instructions.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, noting daily activity, policy violations, and/or property-related concerns for follow-up by site leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as per company policy.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.

$17.75 / Hour

DayTime: Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
