About the role

As an Armed Security Officer PT Gate Access in Adelanto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. This role involves conducting routine patrols, monitoring assigned areas, deterring incidents, supporting access control activities, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. You will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team while delivering service with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following applicable site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications facilities, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$26.00 / Hour

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
