As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain and carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Schedule

Part Time. Day shifts: Saturday 08:00 AM – 06:00 PM, Sunday 08:00 AM – 06:00 PM.
