As a Security Officer Armed Full Time Patrol Driver in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control procedures for restricted areas, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Be comfortable using handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton (preferred).
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
