About the role
As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public at a government transportation location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Carry authorized firearms and other assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, surrounding grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed by site procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other required activity in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized stakeholders.
Requirements
- Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Possess a valid law enforcement officer license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$33.70 / Hour

- Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
