Armed Security Officer Part Time Patrol

As an Armed Security Officer Part‑Time Patrol in Carrollton, TX (healthcare setting), you will serve and safeguard clients, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and deliver professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. The role offers flexibility through the Claim a Shift platform, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you and explore additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor access in accordance with facility policies and applicable procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Part‑time schedule: Saturday 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sunday 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
