Armed Security Officer Part Time Patrol

About the role

As a Part-Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Big Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This role involves conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to concerns. You will assist customers, communicate with store teams, and support a secure, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter to deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, sales floors, and other assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner; request assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through accurate reports and promptly communicate relevant information to authorized personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
