As a Security Officer Armed Part Time Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol observations, access concerns, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Schedule: Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
