As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential loss prevention concerns, and report observations to appropriate store personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and documentation of incidents, patrols, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Part Time; $19.50 per hour.

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
