The position is part-time, with a pay rate of $22.05 per hour, and a schedule that includes DayTimeTue06:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
