About the role

As a Part-Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Security Professional, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, customer disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and potential security-related concerns, reporting observations according to site-specific procedures.
  • Assist with access control, incident documentation, and communication with site leadership and/or local emergency responders as appropriate.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$26.50 / Hour

Schedule

  • Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
  • Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
