Armed Security Officer Full Time Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and authorized individuals while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and requesting additional support when needed.
• Monitor access and movement within assigned areas, verify authorization as required, and document observations, incidents, and actions taken in clear written reports.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, Allied Universal policies, and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
