Armed Security Officer - Full Time Dedicated Patrol Driver

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community in San Diego, CA, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred
• Possess a valid firearms permit, preferred

$25.75 / Hour

Day Time, Monday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Tuesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Wednesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
