Armed Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver
About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, support loss prevention efforts, and report suspicious behavior.
- Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
