Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver
Job Description
Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit facilities, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies and post orders.
Support law enforcement, first responders, and/or site leadership during emergencies, investigations, evacuations, and other security-related events while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
