Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor assigned areas for unusual behavior, suspicious activity, and policy violations, and report findings according to Allied Universal procedures and site expectations.
  • Support cash handling and other sensitive operation areas through visible presence, controlled access practices, and professional interaction with employees and authorized visitors.

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A 40 caliber endorsement is required.
  • A California weapons permit with 9mm caliber endorsement is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
