Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor, contractor, and/or delivery check-in processes in support of site policies.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged doors or gates, spills, and other site concerns that could impact daily operations, while maintaining detailed activity logs and shift reports.

Minimum Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
