About the role

As an Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. The position requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required certifications and carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and location requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Pay

$25.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Friday: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
