About the role

Allied Universal is seeking Armed Security Officers (Active/Retired Law Enforcement) to oversee a Corporate Building located in Manhattan. Candidates should be flexible to work Monday through Sunday, with shifts available in the mornings and afternoons (7AM - 7PM).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Hold an Armed Guard Card/License, Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, and Law Enforcement License.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.
• Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$42.00 per hour.
