As a Security Guard Full Time Armed Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a government transit location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and providing professional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, assist with crowd management during service disruptions or special events, and report hazards or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with applicable laws, client policies, and Allied Universal procedures, using sound judgment and professionalism.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $33.70 / Hour
