About the role

As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to changing conditions. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values. This armed position requires an Armed Guard Card/License.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, entrances, employee areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe passenger flow, reporting suspicious activity, unattended property, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, while interacting professionally with the public and public-sector personnel.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$33.70 / Hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
