Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity.
- Operate assigned security-related equipment in accordance with training, applicable laws, and site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
