About the role
Join Allied Universal in a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, TX as an armed, driving patrol professional. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and/or perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support the control of entry and exit for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with site protocols.
- Support investigations related to security-related concerns, complete required reports, and report maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Pay
$27.32 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Tuesday: 06:00 AM - 05:30 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
