About the role
As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location in Fort Worth, TX, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled entry to sensitive work areas.
- Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and complete required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation while following post orders and armed post guidelines.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
